Celebrations set in the area for July Fourth, parades, music and more

It promises to be a blast—of fireworks, music, food and fun—across the northwoods this weekend.

The long Independence Day weekend will stretch holiday celebrations from Thursday night’s community picnic at the bandstand right through the final pitch Sunday at the Phlox softball tournament.
