Honorary survivors mixed humor with a serious message to cancer survivors, caregivers, family and friends as Relay for Life opened Friday at Antigo High School’s Listle Field.
The overnight fund-raiser came to an end shortly after 5 a.m. this morning, but not before over 12 hours devoted to a celebration of life and a remembrance of those lost.
“You’re still here fighting back,” Chairman Jolene Guenthner said, opening the event, stressing that “inspiration is everywhere.”
