Antigo Teen Death Was Not Contributed to Bullying

According to news reports, the young Antigo man whose death was the subject of numerous groups and posts on social media, was not due to bullying, but instead a concussion.

The information says that he had suffered more than one concussion and it ultimately took his life.

He was active in sports and so this is not uncommon.

For whatever reason, the people in the area, friends of the boy, had posted on social media that he was bullied and that he took his own life and that is not the case.

It is nice to see all the support and positive posts, even though the basis is untrue. There is a large number of groups already formed on facebook to honor and remember the young man and an outpouring of support for his family and friends.

The boys mom posted the following on facebook:

let me clarify a little lots is going around...Noah was not bullied...he took a little teasing sometimes but no more than anyone else...he had problems just like every teen...but he had amazing friends and family that loved him...their is no blame or guilt...life is just complicated and solutions are at times difficult to find...so please do not point fingers...he was loved and deep down he knew that

This is why sites such as Facebook, twitter, and yes wisconsin buzz are terrible places to be when things like this happen. The family of this young man is trying to grieve and mourn a loss, and idiots (90% of Antigo's population) feel the need to make up their own stories and reasonings. Y'all should be ashamed for what you have put this family through. Know your facts before you go spewing crap out of your mouths
