Alcohol A Factor In Edgar Crash That Injured Several People

The Marathon County Sheriff's Department reports alcohol was believed to be a factor in a collision that injured three people Thursday night.

According to a lieutenant at the Marathon County Sheriff's Department, the accident happened at the intersection of County Highways H and N, just south of Edgar around 9:40 p.m.

Authorities said a vehicle side-swiped another before it collided head-on with the third. Three adults; 25-year-old man, a 48-year-old man, and a 54-year-old woman, were transported to a Wausau hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
