AHS drama department opens fund drive for new theater sound system

The Volm Theater at Antigo High School—the site of everything from Community Theater and student dramas and musicals to performances by professional musical troupe—is getting an upgrade.

The high school drama club is gearing up for a fund-raising drive to revamp and improve the sound system in the 21-year-old facility, which remains among the finest in the northwoods.

The project got a boost recently from The Salvation Army, with Bill Kelly presenting a donation for $524 raised from concessions during the Antigo Community Theater’s spring whodunit, “Ten Feet From the Source of the Heat.”
